Celtics Advance to Eastern Finals with Overtime Win in Game 1 Against Pacers

BOSTON, Mass. - The Boston Celtics escaped with a 133-128 overtime win over the Indiana Pacers in Game 1 of the 2024 Eastern Conference finals on Tuesday.

The Celtics were led by Jayson Tatum, who scored 31 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Jaylen Brown added 28 points for Boston.

The Pacers were led by Tyrese Haliburton, who scored 27 points and dished out 10 assists. Myles Turner added 22 points and 10 rebounds for Indiana.

The Celtics took a 13-point lead into the fourth quarter, but the Pacers rallied to force overtime. The Celtics outscored the Pacers 15-10 in the extra period to secure the win.

The Celtics will host Game 2 of the series on Thursday night at TD Garden.
