Ds Brings Back The Legendary Sm

DS brings back the legendary SM

Historic Citroën coupé has gained a new lease of life as the DS SM

The car was first launched in 1970 and was produced until 1975. It was designed by Robert Opron, who also designed the Citroën DS. The SM was a very advanced car for its time and featured many innovative features, including a hydropneumatic suspension system, a variable-assist power steering system, and a semi-automatic transmission.

The SM was available with a variety of engines, including a 2.7-liter V6 and a 3.0-liter V6. The car was also available in a number of different body styles, including a coupé, a convertible, and a station wagon.

The SM was a very popular car in its day and was sold in over 12,000 units. However, the car's production was discontinued in 1975 due to the oil crisis.

In recent years, there has been a growing interest in classic cars, and the SM has become a highly sought-after model. In 2020, DS announced that it would be bringing back the SM as an electric car.

The new DS SM will be based on the same platform as the DS 7 Crossback. The car will be powered by a 110-kWh battery pack and will have a range of over 300 miles. The SM will also be equipped with a number of advanced features, including a Level 3 autonomous driving system.

The new DS SM is expected to go on sale in 2024. The car will be priced from around €100,000.
